This job came in
on Monday and was out on Friday. It was a side power unit that is a factory
option but was not installed on this boat during production. Mainship was very
cooperative in sharing information and drawings, which made the installation a
little easier. The tube was ordered with the unit and was installed using west
system epoxy and 738 bi-axle fabric. A ramp was incorporated forward of the
openings to reduce drag from water flowing over the holes. The exterior was
completely covered with epoxy barrier coat, sanded, then bottom painted. It was
a very nice installation and the owner is very pleased.
